We are currently seeking a talented, career-oriented Licensed Optician in our Lubbock, TX location. JOB DESCRIPTION AND PROFILE:
The Licensed Optician is responsible for conducting the evaluation process, which determines the power ranges and specific lens measurements by frame. Measure, fit, and adapt lenses and frames for client according to written optical prescription or specification. Troubleshoot and identify problems related to prescription. Adhere to quality control standards including OSHA and other safety requirements. Perform basic housekeeping duties.
TO QUALIFY FOR THE POSITION:
High school diploma required; BA Degree preferred
Active State Optician License
Flexibility/ability to work any open store hours
Ability to interact successfully with both internal and external customers at all levels.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
Very high proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
Ability to multi-task and work under constant deadlines in a high-paced environment
