Warehouse Fleet Manager in Lubbock, Texas For Sale

System 3 Inc., is seeking an effective, collaborative, and innovative leader for the position of Warehouse Fleet Services Manager for our Amarillo, Texas Warehouse. This position will be responsible for planning and managing the activities for our fleet services.
Primary Responsibilities:
? Develop and manage a Fleet/Equipment service program including both maintenance and emergency service history of the fleet.
? Manage Enterprise Fleet maintenance program including; out of cycle repairs, non?program.
repairs, scheduled maintenance per Enterprise recommendations, and approval for large ticket repairs.
? Inspect equipment returning from jobs, service as needed and have ready to be dispatched to the next project in good working order.
? Manage logistics of all equipment and rolling stock for project coverage per requests from Director of Construction.
? Manage and review all inspection reports. Follow up with individuals for any missing reports.
? Take appropriate action to repair or dispose of all Fleet and equipment.
? Suggest cost reducing solutions in relation to fleet management.
? Implement and maintain fuel tracking system.
? Manage DOT certifications and inspections.
? Coordinate activities of CDL drivers to move equipment, responsible for ensuring we have proper
permits as well up to date log books.
? Manage warehouse staff, inventory, and equipment.
? Substantiate assets recommended for disposal or repair to Fleet Committee.
? Manage and perform all Fleet registrations.
? Develop and document processes and procedures that will become the standard for System 3 warehouse management.
? Negotiate rates with frequently used vendors.
? Ensure that workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the warehouse and assets.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Employee must be able to lift/move up to 75 pounds
Frequent bending, lifting, twisting, and grasping
Employee must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.)
EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
High school diploma or GED (required)
Must have Class A driver?s license
Knowledge of computers and applicable software programs (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
EXPERIENCE:
5 to 10 years Warehouse, Materials and/or Fleet Management
